Three Sister's Springs

Casa De Loco

This Winery comes with a history.
Years before it would be turned into a winery,
it was a club for the rich.
Built in 1930, Clark Gable, Jean Harlow and Harry Truman
are rumored to have visited “The Millionaire’s Club.”
When owner, Hugo Urbauer passes away in 1948,
it would later turn into a mental health facility for the poor.
Hence the name, Casa De Loco.
The walls have been beautifully painted,
revealing the under layers of past decades in some areas,
giving it an unique fascinating style.

This path leads from the reception room to the where weddings are performed.

This is a hand carved statue located by the pathway
that leads from the ceremony area to the cabin.

Here is one of the cabins built for fishing lodgers
or for the newly weds who are married at Casa De Loco.

The entrance way to the cabin is tiled
with a wine bottle & wine glass.
The Missouri view from the cabin.
